About Us
by Joe Provenzano
My wife and I have two boys, Gary and Dan, and while they were growing up I engaged them in all kinds of philosophical and theological discussions. The three of us had so many discussions that we began to joke about it being our family business. One Christmas I opened up a package and it was the sign that you see pictured on this website. The real sign is over 3 feet long and hangs in our living room.
My brother-in-law, Ron Morgan a deacon in the Catholic Church, and I have been discussing the relation between science and faith for almost fifty years. We met by the coincidence of marrying two sisters: Linda (my wife) and Sandy (Ron’s wife). Somehow the wives have put up with all this philosophizing for all these years. We could not have done any of this without their support.
We got the concept of the Fallen Angel Model (FAM) in 1979. It came from considering specific ideas from physics, theology and philosophy. We consider it a gift from God and an answer to our prayers. We are sure that more insights will be found by further collaboration of these disciplines and that this discussion can help others reconcile their faith with science.
Ron and Sandy have four children: Bryan, Stephanie, Scott and Andy. They have been involved in many of these discussions as well. Andy recorded the music that you hear in the FAM video.
There are many others, not mentioned here, that have contributed to these ideas.
